Maestros Joyeros Dazzles with "El Legado" and "The Godfather" on a Night Where High Jewelry Became a Spectacle
By Janet Gomez
At Maestros Joyeros, we experienced a dazzling evening that will forever be etched in our history. The presentation of our first two collections, "El Legado" and "The Godfather," was a night where high jewelry transformed into a spectacle.
On April 17, the Plaza de Toros Nuevo Progreso in Guadalajara became the perfect stage to present our first two collections: “El Legado” and “The Godfather”.
The night shone not only with the brilliance of diamonds and gold, but also with the energy of our special guests, who were part of an experience designed to celebrate Mexican jewelry art in its highest expression.
Amidst music, lights, and unique pieces, we experienced a moment that represents the beginning of a new chapter for Maestros Joyeros. A vision that honors our roots and, at the same time, looks towards the future of international high jewelry.
Maestros Joyeros surprised everyone with great surprises.
A night of celebrities, luxury, and emotions
During the event, we had the presence of great guests such as Salvador Zerboni, Nicola Porcella, Alex Fernández, El Bogueto, and Gabito Ballesteros, who filled the night with personality and music, creating a vibrant and unforgettable atmosphere.
Every detail was carefully considered to immerse our guests in a unique sensory experience, where the jewels were not just admired: they were felt, lived, and told a story. For Maestros Joyeros, it was important to create a collection that spoke of our history and the cultural richness that inspires us.
“There are two surprises. We are presenting two collections. One, El Legado. I am the fourth generation, and we wanted to go further back, fusing Greek and Mexican culture,” expressed César Villegas, general director.
“El Legado” is born from the fusion of Greek culture and Mexican essence, incorporating elements from emblematic eras like the Porfiriato. Inspired by architectural icons such as the Palacio de Bellas Artes, we designed pieces with profound artistic value.
For its part, “The Godfather" is a collection developed under an international license that had previously been worked on by another high jewelry firm. This first installment of the collection will include an exclusive proposal from Maestros Joyeros that adds exotic gems and even bolder designs.
“What you will see are about 10 pieces, but we are going for a second drop where there will be a complete fusion with us,” Villegas indicated.
At Maestros Joyeros, we had the privilege of creating exclusive gold jewelry that integrates into this iconic collection, respecting the highest quality standards of the original license, but contributing our own vision and essence.

Maestros Joyeros aims to be a leader in high jewelry in Mexico.
Maestros Joyeros reaffirms its leadership in high jewelry in Mexico
Each piece of jewelry from both collections represents the pride of our roots and the desire to honor the creativity of Jalisco's goldsmiths. These collections are the result of the talent and passion of designers, Jalisco goldsmiths, and the experience that have built the DNA of the best jewelry brand in Mexico.
Over the years, our pieces have adorned international artists such as Shakira, Will Smith, Belinda, and Ricky Martin. Seeing them showcase Mexican design on international stages fills us with pride and motivates us to continue growing.
Today, we take a new step with our upcoming opening in Los Angeles, a boutique that represents our vision of bringing Mexican high jewelry to new markets and demonstrating that Mexican-made talent can compete at the highest international level.
At Maestros Joyeros, we firmly believe in the value of Mexican craftsmanship. We want to break paradigms and demonstrate that jewelry made in Mexico is not only well-crafted but can also become a global benchmark.
With El Legado and The Godfather, we seek to create spectacular, iconic, and timeless pieces that transcend trends and leave their mark on the history of Mexican design.
This is just the first page of a story that is just beginning.
