We have distinguished ourselves by offering unique pieces, crafted with the highest standards of excellence and an unwavering commitment to our customers.
"Three generations" support Maestros Joyeros, a Mexican jewelry store that is innovating its processes with the help of technology. It all began in 1931 with Don Ambrosio Rivas, who realized the need to sell quality jewelry and thereby built a name for himself in the market. In 1981, one of Mrs. Magdalena's sons, Cesar Villegas Guzmán, motivated by the family's jewelry tradition and seeing an opportunity in the market, opened a small workshop at just 16 years of age and dedicated himself to the manufacture of gold medals, leading this large project as its director. The manufactured pieces garnered recognition and good sales for their quality, which distinguished the workshop from others in the same industry.

Gems, Pearls and Jewels
In 1987, Mrs. Magdalena Guzmán, in collaboration with her two sons, Jesús Villegas and Cesar Villegas, founded the company Gemas, Perlas, y Joyas SA de CV, with the aim of expanding their market. In addition to marketing gold jewelry, they added diamonds, pearls, and synthetic stones to their catalog, thus obtaining market leadership at the time. After several years of success at Gemas, Perlas, y Joyas, its operating director, Cesar Villegas Guzmán, decided to become independent, providing capital to the growing jewelry manufacturing market. Thus, the first jewelry factory was opened with a formal organization and the best technology of the time. In addition to the above, and taking advantage of the experience and knowledge of the best technicians, they achieved the creation of exceptional pieces and also created exclusive collections such as the Maestro Joyeros chains, which marked a style of their own in the market.

Oro Boleado Opening
In 1993, the factory was renamed Oro Boleado, always distinguished from the beginning by its jewelry of superior quality to those found on the market, ultra-lightweight pieces with perfect carats, always at the forefront of design and technology. In this way, Oro Boleado achieves recognition for its pieces not only in Mexico but internationally. Over the years, Oro Boleado sets an example for the national industry by participating in specialized international exhibitions in countries such as Argentina, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Panama, the USA, Spain, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, India, Hong Kong, Japan, Turkey, Australia, and New Zealand. It also opened its own points of sale, which over time evolved into recognized jewelry boutiques both in Mexico and abroad. Currently, Grupo OB is run by the third and fourth generations of the family; the combination of fresh knowledge and experience has resulted in market expansion and the addition of other international markets. It has also secured large manufacturing contracts with renowned brands and important designers. (which remain confidential by privacy contract) At the end of 2017, the opening of 2 new points of sale was achieved, this with the aim of further capturing the Mexican and American market.

Innovation & Tradition
But this innovation doesn't stray from tradition. Villegas says that in his factories, three generations of a family of goldsmiths (grandfather, father, and son) can be found working together, passing on all the knowledge of the past and present to create jewelry. An example of this are unique pieces like the white gold chain with diamonds, which reflect innovation without losing the essence of tradition.
"In this way, we achieve results from the combination of traditional and modern techniques; the result is art." Maestros Joyeros is undoubtedly a modern company, but also one with a long tradition. César Villegas says that, if he had to pass on his knowledge to future jewelers, it would be to listen to his parents and grandparents, see what they are doing right or wrong, and learn from that.
